Hello and welcome to the website of the Sensational Sigma Tau Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®! The Sigma Tau Omega Chapter has been providing service to Cary and Western Wake County since June 1990. We are a growing and vibrant chapter with a heart for service to our local communities.
Since 1908, Alpha Kappa Alpha has partnered with local communities, regional and international organizations to provide service and solve problems. The Alpha Kappa Alpha International Program theme for 2022-2026 is Soaring to Greater Heights of Service & Sisterhood. It is more than a theme, it is a call to action to serve our communities in a greater way. The international program includes five program targets and a signature program that are designed to advance the mission of Alpha Kappa Alpha with excellence and underscore our commitment to sustainable service.
