Welcome to the website of the Sensational Sigma Tau Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated.  We hope you will explore what we do to make lives better for the citizens of Cary/Western Wake County and beyond.

The Sigma Tau Omega Chapter was chartered in 1990 in Cary, North Carolina. Now in our 20th year of service in this area, we continue to dedicate time, energy and resources towards programs that significantly impact our community.

Our local programs mirror our relevant International Platforms including:
     Non Traditional Entrepreneur
     Economic Keys to Success
     Economic Growth of the Black Family
     Health Resources Management and      Economics

After 102 years of service, our sorority continues to set the pace for programs that address the needs of the international community and in Sigma Tau Omega, we look forward to expanding our philanthropic reach, continuing to make a footprint in our corner of the globe.
