Earn, Save, Prosper Financial Management Workshop for 6th - 8th Graders

Students participate in hands-on activities that focus on career choices, budgeting, saving, and investing their future incomes. This event is free and open to church and community youth groups, boy/girl scout troops and any other organization that works with youth in grades 6-9.

Entrepreneurship 2.0: The Young Professional’s Guide to Business

Through a partnership with The Young Professional Experience (TYPE ), this workshop will provide education and resources on small business ownership and non-traditional entrepreneurship.

Women @ Work Professional Networking Retreat

The Women @ Work Networking Retreat is a ½ day event designed for female entrepreneurs and executives to meet the following goals:

  • Develop and strengthen networking skills
  • Highlight the importance of mental and emotional health as it relates to career advancement
  • Learn best practices for success
Girl Power

An empowering event focused on middle school-aged girls to foster positive self-images, peer relations, and tons of fun!

Race for the Cure

Did you know that every 3 MINUTES a woman is being DIAGNOSED with breast cancer?  Or that BLACK WOMEN are more likely to DIE from this disease?

The Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure is Saturday, June 12th at Meredith College in Raleigh. This year, we are inviting area AKA chapters to participate with Sigma Tau Omega as “THE TRIANGLE AKAs” team.
