Sigma Tau Omega Chapter
Welcome to the official website of the Sensational Sigma Tau Omega Chapter of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®!
Since our chartering in 1990, the Sigma Tau Omega Chapter has proudly provided “Service to All Mankind” throughout Cary and Western Wake County communities in North Carolina. As we approach 35 years of service in the sorority’s Mid-Atlantic Region, our chapter continues to make a meaningful impact through service programs, scholarships, and youth mentoring programs that uplift and inspire our community.
Service and sisterhood have been the foundation of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® since its founding in 1908. With the theme of “Soaring to Greater Heights of Service and Sisterhood,” the 2022-2026 administration, under the leadership of International President and CEO Danette Anthony Reed, seeks to build upon Alpha Kappa Alpha’s rich legacy of service and sisterhood in our communities.
Thank you for visiting our site and learning more about Sigma Tau Omega, our dedicated members, and our community programming. If you are a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha and in search of a chapter home, we warmly invite you to join us as we continue to exemplify sensational service and sisterhood in the Triangle Region of our state.
We are excited to SERVE as we SOAR to greater heights.
Respectfully yours,
